My Profile

Sotirios Katsikeas

My name is Sotirios, but you can call me Sotiris. I am a graduate student of the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering in the Technical University of Crete, in my native country, Greece.

I have completed my undegraduate studies with excellence and my diploma thesis "A lightweight and secure MQTT implementation for Wireless Sensor Nodes" was concluded under the guidance of Associate Professor Ioannis Papaefstathiou.

Additionaly, I am happy that I had the opportunity to continue my studies, on a postgraduate level, in the field of Network Services & Systems, at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden! My postgraduate studies were concluded with my Master Thesis which was titled "vehicleLang: a probabilistic modeling and simulation language for vehicular cyber attacks".

Right now I am making another big step in my acedemic life by start working as a PhD student at KTH Royal Institute of Technology!
